Light Alliance

Today is Halloween.  Today I don't want to get into the darkness associated with this holiday.  Today I am being reminded of, I am being called to the Light.

In Indian tradition, today is Diwali, a festival of light.  I didn't realize that until I saw a post about it online this morning.  Is it any little coincidence, that last night before bed, I flipped open to a meditation with Ganesh, and Indian god called upon in this celebration?  I think not.

Diwali is a celebration of Light over the Darkness.  Regardless of my faith or your faith or the lack thereof, victory of the Light over the Darkness is what I choose to celebrate today, even as I trick or treat down the street with my favorite goblins.

I have a few reposted things to share with you before I go to get dressed in my witchy costume.  I've been blessed with a smattering of meaningful media, definitely a potpourri, or perhaps more seasonly apropos, a cornucopia of ideas and information that I hope you can find meaning in today.

#1: Sarah Hall - to set the spiritual tone for the next astrological period which encapsulates the aforementioned celebrations and more.

#2: From a more boots on the ground perspective - shit that did and might go down.  It's good to be awake.  It's smart to be prepared.  Then hold the light, hold on and see what happens.  That day is getting close.
