As You Wish
This is a quick tribute to those we met on our recent trip to ECETI Ranch in Trout Lake, WA. It was a beautiful, heartwarming experience.
We saw many amazing anomalies...rainbow clouds shaped like angel wings while sitting near the top of Mt. Adams. We saw plasma-like orbs floating high above us resembling jellyfish in the sky as we sat around the firepit at the ranch in an impromptu drumming circle. We saw spaceships and crafts galore in the night sky every night we were there. We observed ships communicating with us, showing up and powering up as we asked for some interaction. We saw one amazingly huge fluorescent flash of light across the night sky in shades of reds and pinks and oranges leaving a trail of white like a rocket (it was so astonishing it's hard to describe it...and it was FAST!).
These appearances were phenomenal, but the people we met, the souls we connected with, the pure love we felt for one another in such a short period of time was nothing more than miraculous. The mountain, that place, those people...we definitely felt an overwhelming sense of home. Again, it is difficult to put into words, especially upon simulated pixilated paper. But it was real. And it was really beautiful.
Below is a picture of Jake, the resident largest cat I have ever seen, my friend and protector there at the Ranch. And below that picture of Jake is a link to the weekly broadcast As You Wish Talk Radio program that is recorded with James Gilliland at the Ranch each Saturday evening. We were fortunate to have the opportunity to join in on the show and participate in the group meditation that evening. Have a look and a listen if you have a moment. My husband Chris even got the chance to make an appearance on the show and chime in on what an amazing, incredible experience this visit to ECETI was for him.

After the workshop weekend, on the afternoon of leaving the ranch, we had a great time whitewater rafting on the White Salmon River (class 3 rapids = fun!!). We enjoyed a stay that evening near Portland at a quirky, inspiring although a little bit creepy place called McMenamins Edgefield. It is an old poor farm from the early 1900's, converted into a retirement home throughout the 60's -70's, converted into a hotel, brewery, distillery and winery in the 90's (all that and we're not drinking!) with beautiful gardens and a soaking pool. Still no air-conditioning which made it a little weird to be sitting on a toilet with the window next to you being (although curtained) wide open. As I sat and peed, I could look out and see a lady enjoying her cup of tea! Fascinating!
The hours before we left the west coast, we spent climbing to the top of the Multnomah Waterfalls...a beautiful place and an invigorating hike, just what we needed before catching the redeye back to North Carolina.
